In this unit we have learned about density.
Density is the amount of mass per unit of volume in an object.
In the labs we did in class we also had to know how to find the density of an object. To find the density you can also do the equation,
density= mass/volume. Or you could switch it the other way around to find the volume.To find the volume you can also do the equations,
volume=mass/density.
In this unit we also learned about weight, volume, and mass.
Weight is the amount of gravitational force that is acting on an object.
Volume is the amount of space that and object or substance takes up.
Mass is the amount of matter in an object or substance.
